I dream to create my story, Divine Ruin, into a serial TV series with multiple seasons on a major broadcast or streaming network. The endgame is hard, but it always helps to create a game plan to lead me in the right direction:
Step 1:
Research Greek, Norse, and Egyptian mythologies and the Gods and monsters of their respective pantheons. Look into familial relations, conflicts between divine figures, and stories of how the world ends in their cultures.
Step 2:
Establish a plan for how the story will play out. Plan out how the main characters connect to the antagonists, and side characters. Plan ahead for the next arc in the story.
Step 3:
Begin to write the story! Write at least five pages for each time you work on the script. Then the next day, review the script for possible errors in continuity or grammar. Rinse and repeat the process until the story has been smoothed out and completed for a final draft.
Step 4:
Find and secure an agent to help you open opportunities to pitch your story to possible parties of interest. Preferably try to be represented by the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) as they have helped writers sell their stories such as The Batman
Step 5:
Once officially represented by the Creative Artists Agency or another Literary Talent Agency, find a studio willing to listen to your story pitch. Keep the pitch concise and to the point while speaking clearly on your themes and ideas you want to tell. Get your story acquired by a studio and bought.
